CLEM FOX
I come to this work with a passion for Restorative & Transformative Justice, harm reduction, advocacy for queer & trans people, prison abolition, and deep equity work. As a social worker, former CPS teacher, and outreach worker, I have been engaged in this work in Chicago since 2008.
As a formally educated middle-class white person, I am engaged in an ongoing practice of acknowledging and challenging the ways white supremacy and class privilege may show up in my work. As a queer, trans person raised in a remote rural setting, I recognize the importance of intersecting identities and their relationship to power.
